Unit 6: Producer Behaviour and Supply

  • Production: Short-Run, Long-Run; TP, AP, MP; Returns to a Factor
  • Cost: Short-run costs (TC, TFC, TVC; AC, AFC, AVC, MC)
  • Revenue: TR, AR, MR
  • Producer's Equilibrium: MR-MC approach

Unit 7: Forms of Market and Price Determination

  • Perfect Competition: Features; Market equilibrium; Effects of shifts in demand and supply
  • Simple Applications: Price ceiling and price floor
Project Work: 20 marks. Students are required to complete a research-based project on an economic topic of their choice involving data collection, analysis, and presentation.
