Gujarat Board Class 8 Assessment Structure

Gujarat Board Class 8 follows a comprehensive assessment structure designed to evaluate student understanding and progress throughout the academic year.

Formative Assessments

  • FA1: July 2026 (15 marks)
  • FA2: October 2026 (15 marks)
  • FA3: December 2026 (15 marks)
  • FA4: February 2027 (15 marks)
  • Total FA: 60 marks (20% weightage)

Summative Assessments

  • SA1: October 2026 (40 marks)
  • SA2: March 2027 (40 marks)
  • Total SA: 80 marks (80% weightage)
  • Annual Examination: 100 marks (Combined)
Note: Final assessment combines both Formative and Summative assessments. Students must score minimum 33% in each subject to pass.
